Launching my first project: A website to find the best budget VPN deals.
Hey, Indie Hackers!
Ech the Tech Fox here, finally coming out of my den to show you what I've been working on. It’s my first project, and it's called Find Cheap VPNs.
The Problem (or, The Trap-Filled Forest)
Let's be real: the VPN world is a jungle. You're trying to do the right thing for your privacy, but you're surrounded by confusing plans and shady "Top 10" sites that are just glorified ads.
I got tired of trying to navigate it. I felt like the marketing machines were always one step ahead. As a tech fox, getting outsmarted by marketing fluff is... well, embarrassing. I knew there had to be a cleverer way through the woods.
The Solution (The Fox's Shortcut)
So, I did what any self-respecting fox would do: I built a better path. Find Cheap VPNs is my no-nonsense shortcut to a good deal. No tricks, no fluff. I've designed it to sniff out the real value and present it clearly, so consumers can make a smart choice without the headache and technical jargon confusing them.
How It Works
The Fox's View: Compare VPNs by the stuff that actually matters: price, features, and real user ratings.
Sniffing Out Deals: I'm always on the hunt for the latest discounts and coupon codes to make sure you're getting the absolute best price.
No Tricks, Just Tech: My reviews are straight to the point. I break down the tech and tell you what's good and what's not, minus the sales pitch. All content is human-first and designed to make your life easier.
Why I'm Building in the Open
I'm a solo fox on this adventure, and it’s my first time building something like this. The best hunters learn from the pack (that’s you!), so I want to build this with your input. Your feedback will help me make this the sharpest tool in the shed.
So, What Do You Think?
I'd love for you to check out https://findcheapvpns.com and give me your honest thoughts.
Tear it apart! What's clever? What's clumsy? Is the trail easy to follow? What features are missing? Do you like the design?
Can't wait to hear what you all think.
