I just launched my task management app https://KissTodo.com ๐๐
I'm sure I'll get roasted hard, but I'm ready ๐. Any tip on how I can get people to sign up?
If you want, I can also review yours in return ๐
Here's my product page if you're interested: https://www.indiehackers.com/product/kisstodo
I am a big fan of ToDo apps. It is a crowded market but I haven't seen one that actually makes the difference. There's a lot of potential in this space for sure.
My raw notes (wish I could write them in kisstodo :-)):
Would love to hear your feedback on our landing page (still in beta): https://grunthouse.com
Hey zotron,
Thank you, I really appreciate your feedback :)
Glad to see a fellow todo nerd =D.
What is preventing you from doing it?
That's a great idea! I have thought about it also. I will definitely ponder on that one.
Yes, I agree it's awful lol I was too lazy to change it. Now that I think about it, maybe I've actually lost some user because of it? Not sure, but just changed it. Thanks for pointing this out.
You've got a beautiful app and landing page sir ๐ I love the concept and support anything that brings positivity in the world like your app.
I'm wondering if the value proposition is strong enough. Can you explain what's the difference between sending a message through your app or just a regular voice message through let's say a SMS? Perhaps the value proposition is the context of positivity that the app provides?
Cheers brother ๐
Looks nice - Iโm using Appleโs todo list and Iโm quite happy with it so Iโm probably not your target audience. However, one thing that would be extremely important is your Privacy Policy. You say that the data is not shared with third party. But what about you as the owner of the system - would you be able to read my todos or are they stored encrypted.
Wishing you all the best for your project!
Hey Chris,
Thank you so much for the comment.
I appreciate your feedback. Yes KT isn't for everyone - I guess you need to be a todo nerd lol (๐ก that sounds like a great way to market KT actually!! A todo nerd...!!)
The todos are not encrypted. I never thought of myself as a third party. That's a great point - perhaps that should and will be the next feature I implement - I have actually thought that I wouldn't like the owner of the system to be able to read my todos (even though that's not something I'd do as the owner of a system myself, except if I need to debug something that requires it).
If I encrypt the todos, does it still qualify for "data is not shared with third party"?
Cheers Chris!
Yes, in my understanding, if you encrypt the data it will still qualify as data not shared with third party.
Have you posted your app on https://news.ycombinator.com/ ? - I can imagine, you could get some users there.
Yes, I have! I haven't really got any traction or sign-ups (Hackernews, IndieHackers, ProductHunt). I'm not sure if it's normal or not.
TBH, I still haven't ruled out the possibility that my product isn't really solving any need except mine - AKA that it's not a good business idea ๐. Too early to say.
I wouldn't say that I'm discouraged though. I really enjoy using the app myself, so I can't believe I'd be the only one. Also, it's probably (much) too early to arrive to a conclusion.
I don't know, it's my first time doing any of that :D
