Launching new version of #GreenSense product

We completed our #BRINC Poland Prize incubation in Poznan. As a part of the project, we developed a new version of our #GreenSense product. To be precise, we wanted to develop our own enclosure for the product. A enclosure which can help us

  1. Call our product as our product. This will reduce the dependency of enclosure manufacturers
  2. Reduce the moving parts. Earlier, we have one enclosure for PCB and one for sensor.
  3. Is easy to install, operate and maintain.

Following are the features that we were looking at

  1. Can be mass manufactured using vacuum casting.
  2. Is IP67 certified
  3. Solar radiation shield or Stevenson screen is a part of the PCB enclosure
  4. Make sure that there is proper air flow around the sensor
  5. Allow you to add more sensors
  6. If solar panel can be a part of the enclosure. But to reduce the complexity of first iteration, we removed that.

Following is the first version and design. Initially we are going for 3D manufacturing to test out things. The design is not so complicated, is easy to manufacture and handle.

Well to provide you all a small introduction of what we do in #Yuktix. Yuktix is an agritech startup based out of Bangalore and we are developing next generation digital assistant for agriculture farm monitoring and risk management. The digital assistant is developed on top of our ankiDB IoT platform ( ankiDB micro for hardware, firmware and ankiDB cloud for web ).

I am open for suggestions from the community on how we can improve the design.
