Launching PhantomConnect — A Desktop Automation App for Lead Generation & Growth

Hi Indie Hackers,

I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on: PhantomConnect — a desktop-based automation app designed to simplify lead generation, social media engagement, and data collection.

Why I built it:

I kept running into the same problem: spending far too much time on repetitive tasks like sending invites, liking posts, collecting leads, and exporting data. Most of the tools I tried were cloud-based, overpriced, or limited in flexibility.

So I set out to build PhantomConnect —

A lightweight desktop automation solution that allows you to:

• Automate social interactions on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn

• Scrape user profiles & export to CSV

• Auto-invite friends to groups, auto-like posts, and more

• Run everything locally, giving you full control over your data and automations.

And the best part: there’s a Free Plan available — so anyone can try it out and see if it fits their workflow.

Current status:

• Launched a new version with a revamped UI

• Growing a small but helpful community on Discord

• Always open to feedback & feature requests.
