Launching PortfolioXAI – Build your AI-powered portfolio in minutes

Hey Indie Hackers 👋

I’m a developer and solo founder, and today I’m excited to share what I’ve been building — PortfolioXAI.

💡 The Problem

I’ve seen many talented people struggle to get jobs or opportunities—not because they lack skills, but because they don’t know how to present them effectively.

Building a good portfolio takes time, design skills, and effort… and most people either delay it or never finish it.

⚡ The Solution

PortfolioXAI helps you create a professional, job-ready portfolio in minutes using AI.

No design skills. No coding.
Just input your details → AI does the rest.

🔥 What makes it different?

  • AI-generated portfolios optimized for hiring

  • Clean, modern designs

  • Fast setup (minutes, not hours)

  • Focus on outcomes (getting hired), not just templates

👨‍💻 Why I built this

As a developer, I wanted to solve this problem at scale.
I’m building PortfolioXAI to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity.

🚀 What’s next?

  • Improve AI personalization

  • Add more portfolio styles

  • Build tools for career growth beyond portfolios

"AI-powered portfolio" — for job seekers or investors? The job seeker wants to look impressive, the investor wants returns. Same name, completely different product. Your landing page needs to choose.

PortfolioXAI is built for job seekers, not investors.
The goal isn’t just to “look impressive,” but to turn portfolios into real hiring outcomes.

We’ll make that sharper on the landing page — less about “AI-powered portfolios,” more about getting hired faster with proof-driven portfolios.

"Getting hired faster with proof-driven portfolios" — that's a sharp pivot. But who's feeling the pain most: new grads who need their first job, or experienced professionals who want to level up? The new grad wants templates and guidance. The experienced pro wants differentiation and prestige. Same portfolio tool, two different onboarding flows and price points.

You describe the outcome as helping people get hired, rather than just helping them build portfolios.

What would convince you that people are choosing PortfolioXAI because of that outcome, rather than simply because it's a faster way to create a portfolio?

    1. 1

That’s true—speed is just the entry point.

Today, portfolios are no longer optional; they’re becoming a basic requirement for getting hired. What would convince me is if users don’t just create portfolios quickly, but actually use them to apply for jobs and see better responses.

If they start treating PortfolioXAI as a job-required tool, not just a builder—and come back to improve it for opportunities—that’s when I know we’re solving for outcomes, not just speed

        Appreciate the context.

Would be good to continue the conversation as you learn how users respond after creating and using their portfolios.
