Launching Revova: recover the revenue your Stripe already lost

Hey Indie Hackers πŸ‘‹ I'm excited to share Revova β€” AI payment recovery for SaaS founders and indie hackers.

The problem I kept running into: around 15% of recurring payments fail every single month (expired cards, insufficient funds, bank declines), and most founders don't even notice until it shows up as churn in their MRR. That's real revenue quietly leaking out the door.

Revova fixes this in two ways. First, the Lost Revenue Finder: the moment you connect Stripe, it scans your history and shows exactly how much you've already lost to failed payments over the last 30 days, 3 months, and 12 months β€” your real numbers, not an estimate β€” then runs AI win-back campaigns on those past failures. Second, full dunning on autopilot: for every new failed payment, the AI reads the exact decline reason and writes a unique recovery email (no templates), sends a 5-email sequence in the customer's timezone, runs smart daily retries, and even does pre-dunning before cards expire.

It works with Stripe, Paddle, Braintree, Chargebee and Recurly. Setup takes about 3 minutes β€” no code, no engineers. I built it because existing recovery tools charge enterprise prices for this, and I wanted something an indie hacker could actually afford. Plans start at $29/mo.

Would love your feedback! And if you want to try it: use code Bird20 for 25% off. πŸš€ https://revova.io

The historical β€œhow much already leaked” scan is the part founders usually skip β€” they feel churn and never price the failed pile in dollars. Whatever tool you use, the split that pays for itself first is soft vs hard: NSF/timing can wait for a smarter retry window; expired/stolen need a calm update link on day 0, not another live attempt. Pre-dunning on card_expiring is the cheap prevention layer next to that. Flat-rate recovery tooling is also easier to stomach for small MRR than revenue-share when you’re still proving the leak is real.
