Last year we launched a YouTube channel—and got the full taste of content creator overload.
Making videos creates a mess
Every new upload means finding ideas/topics to talk about, researching and saving things, collecting media, planning the content and visuals, scripting, prepping, and finally presenting on camera.
A lot of moving parts—and it creates a ton of STUFF. For burned-out YouTubers who produce videos week after week, managing it all is a chore.
But there's no tool for it
For their planning, creators are cobbling together a kludge of business tools, productivity apps, writing tools, and cloud storage sites. Fragmented, decentralized, disconnected.
Why isn't there a start-to-finish video planning app? We asked creators and got a ton of interest.
So we got to work building showshaper.
We're currently prototyping the app and hope to have a working beta in a couple of months.
We've set up a beta/waitlist here and there's an early bird offer for backers.
Hey we want your feedback! If you or someone in your circles is a video maker, we'd love to hear about your workflow pains/wishlist:
