Hi there 👋
I'm Piotr and I want to share with you my journey on launching solo on Product Hunt.
Being an indie maker comes with its own set of challenges and rewards. As the creator of Visualizee.ai, I embarked on a journey to launch solo on Product Hunt, driven by passion and a vision. This article chronicles that journey, hoping to inspire others to take the leap.
Networking is more than just adding connections - it's about building relationships. By connecting with around 400 people on LinkedIn, I not only expanded my network but also laid the groundwork for my product's visibility.
40 hours might seem like a long time for preparation, but every minute was essential. From refining the product pitch to ensuring the website was ready for increased traffic, engaging with the PH community, the meticulous planning set the stage for launch day.
The day was a whirlwind of emotions. The Product Hunt community is vibrant and engaging, and I spent around 12 hours interacting, addressing queries, and soaking in feedback. Their insights were invaluable.
The results were encouraging: 4000 unique visitors and 200 signups within four days! Yet, the challenge remained: converting this interest into paying customers. While the traction was commendable, it highlighted the continuous journey of refining the user experience and value proposition.
Launching solo is not just about the product; it's a testament to one's determination and adaptability. While immediate results are rewarding, the journey's lessons are invaluable. To every indie maker out there, remember: every launch, every feedback and every iteration is a step towards success.
Challenges are part and parcel of the indie maker journey. Embrace them, learn from them, and continue to innovate. The community, with its feedback and support, is your greatest asset. Stay persistent, stay inspired, and keep launching!
