    Hey @Michael_Andreuzza

Your choice of GIF is just amazing! How much time would you spend on content curation?

I just passed the 4th episode on Substack and thinking ways to improve. Would be awesome to hear your opinion!

      Hey Felix,
Thank you so much, that's super nice to know.

Are you enjoying publishing on Substack?

Well, to be honest is a constantt curation regarding the links because it can be something that I already have seen before.or the same day I send it.

Then, regarding the curation of GIfs. They have to say, mean something, otherwise I will feature an image that speaks for itself.

I really like the green you are using, the layout and idea.

In my case when I had less images I had better open rate, and sometimes I regret using 2, but they are needed.

If they do not play a big rope on your newsletter I would consider putting down the number. But it won't feel the same.

I just subscribed to it. I saw that when I got the email it said.

I am not sure how how it looks for your newsletter but if it is repeating, you may want use something different and not waste such a valuable space.

Have a great day Felix hope it helps.

I launched mine and got 2 upvotes haha. But still you should do it, any subscriber you can get is good, but don't expect too much.

    1. 1

Ohh wow, yeah , I guess is fine with any subscriber to be honest.

      Thank your encouragement!

I launched mine on Product Hunt and it wasn't received well. PH doesn't appreciate them.

Btw, I've had two successful launches with #1 & #2.

    1. 1

A clear example that does not matter what and if you have launch before.

Do you mean PH the team or the community?

      Cheers.

      1. 1

PH community doesn't like it hence the PH team doesn't promote it.

I shared my experience with launching my newsletter on Product Hunt.

Spoiler alert: it was a dud, predictably. But it's not so much Product Hunt or readers don't enjoy newsletters.

The problem is it takes an auduence to build an audience.

When starting out, everything happens at a snail's pace and nothing seems to move the subscriber needle. Until you hit a critical mass, when a chain reaction kicks in and pretty much anything you throw at the wall sticks.

Don't let this discourage you, it's just the nature of the business. Take the plunge and ejoy the ride.

      Buonasera Paolo,

The newsletter has 1140 subscribers , it's been there a bi by now too.

To be honest, I will never look for a newsletter on ph, because of what my newsletter is about, so it might be interesting to some.

Sometimes when my site gets featured somewhere where the traffic is massive, like sidebar io so I get a big amount of subscribes from 100 to 200 in two days.

Otherwise is maybe, from 10 to 20, even 0. The good part is that I have a very low unsubscribe rate from zero to 10 a month more or less.

So I thought PH could help I guess...
I decided to launch next Tuesday.

I head to your link and read it now. Thank for encouraging me to do it.

      Grazie mille Paolo!

You're welcome! I've read newsletters are mong the products most frequently launched on Produt Hunt lately, so there's definitely potential.

Yes that's actually true. Will see how it goes!

Yeah it is one shot actually...

The thing is that I keep seeing them, but they do not perform as good.

Well, the newsletter is just links to new an old websites, like apps, tools, APIs. Including Figma Sketch and articles.

Is towards web developers and digital designers...

I am having between 32% and 45% open rate and 20% to 34% click through. I send it weekly, on Tuesday's 00.21. Today I will send the N12. But before that I used to send another one.

      There's 1135 subscribers now.

That's true, a lot of them are just to have it, without a goal...

I guess I will launch next Tuesday, I like to launch on Tuesday's...

      Thank you so much !
