A lot of online file tools work by uploading your file to a server, watermarking the result, then asking you to sign up to remove the watermark. Modern browsers can handle that work locally — so I built unfuss.app, where every tool runs inside your browser tab. Nothing leaves your device.
The toolkit so far:
- Image compressor (JPG / PNG / WebP)
Image resizer with social-media presets
HEIC → JPG converter for iPhone photos
PNG → WebP
PDF merger
PDF signer (draw or type)
PDF + XML password protection (AES-256)
QR code generator including WiFi QR for guest networks
Live at https://unfuss.app
Stack: plain HTML/CSS, MIT-licensed JS libraries (pdf-lib, browser-image-compression, libheif-js, zip.js, qrcode), Cloudflare Pages hosting. No frameworks, no build step. Source view in the browser is the source.
Would love feedback on the UX, missing tools, or anything that breaks.
