I've spent the last 2 weeks speaking to as many hardcore TNP customers as possible to hear about some of the problems they're having with existing social media platforms and with The Nice Place.
It's given me 12 feature ideas that I'd like to add to the product or change. I've split them into 2 main groups:
The incremental improvements are fully informed by conversations with customers. An example is improving the layout of the platform on desktop. This is something that annoys existing customers, so if I change it there will be a marginal increase in customer satisfaction, and I have a high degree of confidence that it will be an improvement.
The other group are the moonshot ideas. These are still largely based on customer interviews, but I have a much lower degree of certainty that these will actually help solve some of the customers' existing problems. These are things that have either never been done before, or are very rare. I believe each startup needs a few moonshot ideas that work to create something truly special.
I'm hoping to launch these 12 new features next Monday (17th January). It should coincide with some useful promotion (Bubble are featuring The Nice Place as app of the day).
Happy building!
Chris
