Launching WhatsApp based venue check-ins

Very pleased to be launching WhatsApp based check-ins very soon!

Venues using Covisitor already are being added to the WhatsApp based check-in feature this week.

How does it work?

Every venue has unique identifying codes. These are used as QR codes, but they're also recognised by the WhatsApp API.

Let's say you want to check in at my demo location, you'd just send a text "coffee" to Covisitor's phone number.

You're here for the first time? Let us gather some additional details, like your name and email address. And you're good to go!
