Launching with freemium or selling your product short?

This is the product's first week in the limelight. I really struggled with deciding a pricing strategy. Should I have a trial period? Should i have a freemium version? Should I require a credit card or not in the trial? What should be the differentiation in the plans? Many choices to make.

I landed on a 14 day trial, no credit card necessary, full featured.
I actually even chose to have a 30 day money back guarantee, because I believe that for the right founders and teams, the value of the service will be apparent after just 2 weeks.

But, it is still early days. I need early feedback and hopefully the upcoming new features will seal the deal even more. I'm actively using it myself for all my other side projects 😅

To celebrate founders and fast movers I even created a special launch pricing: lifetime 60% OFF deal for the first 100 subscribers with code: LAUNCHDARKLY

Wow, you've really put a lot of effort into the pricing! A 14 - day trial without a credit card requirement, a 30 - day money - back guarantee, and that great launch discount. It's so user - friendly! I'm just wondering, though, what are you gonna do to get those trial users who didn't buy to change their minds? Can't wait to hear more about your product updates.

Working on that. Most important is to get some feedback to learn more about why they didn't feel that they received enough value to subscribe to it. Maybe the pricing is wrong or the product needs tweaking or simply put, not a problem worth solving for them. The last one is difficult to do anything about.
