Most founders I talk to think their problem is visibility.
Not enough reach.
Not enough posts.
Not enough “distribution.”
But here’s the uncomfortable truth I ran into myself:
People are already asking for what you built.
You’re just not there when it happens.
Every day on Indie Hackers, Reddit, and X, someone posts:
“Looking for a tool that does X”
“Any recommendations for Y?”
That’s not browsing.
That’s buying intent.
And the window is brutally short.
Replies come in fast.
Shortlists form.
Decisions get made.
If you see it late, you don’t exist.
That’s why I built LeadSynth AI.
Instead of chasing attention, LeadSynth:
Monitors the internet 24/7
Detects real buyer intent (not likes, not noise)
Surfaces warm leads the moment someone asks for help
Lets you show up while they’re actively evaluating
No cold emails.
No mass DMs.
No “post more content and hope.”
Just being present at the exact moment someone is ready to buy.
For me, this flipped customer acquisition from hustle to leverage.

Indie Hackers bonus:
There’s a 30% IH-only discount on all plans — use code IH30 at checkout.
Curious how others here see it:
Is your bigger bottleneck getting attention, or showing up in time?
The sentiments expressed are accurate. ~
In the past, I believed that I lacked reach. I eventually discovered that I lacked adequate timing.
It is possible to continually post to social media, but still miss the opportunity to post when potential clients are making a decision.
Once the opportunity for clients to compile a shortlist has ended, that is about the end of your chances of being selected by those clients.
What is your best estimate as to how early in the decision-making process you will need to reach your target audience for it to have any impact?
Very early.
Most founders miss the subtle point and most visibility issues are timing issues. ~
In some instances, I’ve seen situations where traffic was stagnant, but responses converted a lot better, because we happened to be present earlier in the conversation.
Once shortlists are created, you’re already too late. How do you define the cutoff personally? How early would you consider the timeframe to be, that would prevent intent from cooling off?
Id say max. 3 days to be honest or even a week at MOST because more than that the probability they already converted with someone else is higher.
I like the look of LeadSynthAI. Just a bit of feedback, it would be good to point out on the home page what the set up is like. I was looking to see if it's a few clicks and the AI would set everything up or is it a channel by channel the setup process. A simple animation or video would help explain this and there's a very simple way.
We have this already, but you are correct it could be displayed better in the page.
Also a list of the platforms you connect to. A lot of SaaS companies would have a integrations page listing these.
