LeadzTrak is live on Indie Hackers 👋
Quick intro:
I built LeadzTrak because I was spending 2 hours a day copying LinkedIn profiles into a spreadsheet. I am a software engineer. This felt stupid. So I automated it.
The extension is free. No credit card. No trial that expires. You install it. It works.
Current stats:
• Active installs: 32
• Paid users: 0 (free only for now)
• MRR: $0 (pre-revenue)
Why free first?
I want 500 people using LeadzTrak before I charge a dollar. I need to know:
• What features people actually use (vs what I think they will use)
• What is broken (users find bugs faster than I do)
• What is missing (feature requests I never thought of)
Once I hit 500 users and have that data, I will launch paid plans.
The plan:
1. Free tier → 500 users → learn what matters
2. Paid tier → solve the top 3 problems users actually have
3. Product Hunt launch → once the product is battle-tested
I will post updates every Friday. Real numbers. No fluff.
If you prospect on LinkedIn, try it out. If something is broken or missing, tell me. I will fix it.
LinkedIn -> Sheets is incredibly specific. That said, enriching leads with LinkedIn data is always in need :D
Can you automate it? How would you get around bot protection?
If it's meant to be manual, how do you differentiate from SalesNav? It's expensive, but buys advanced segmentation and export to CRM or CSV.
The 500-user threshold is interesting.
What made you choose that as the point to start testing paid — is there something you need to learn from 500 users that you don’t think 50–100 active users would tell you?
