LeanOn - Peer support platform

https://www.leanon.app

LeanOn is a peer support platform.

The goal is to support people with loneliness, someone who just wants to rant or vent.

It is a market place where listeners who have lived experience want to just listen, share, guide users wanting to share, vent, rant or seek advice.

Take a look. Sign up. Please use the service and try it out.

Read the page and the FAQ. Two things most products in this space leave out, and you put both on the page: "peer support, not therapy" and a crisis number. That is rarer than it should be and it is the right call.

On the trust question raised above, the gap I see is specific: the hero says listeners are "trained" and the FAQ says they are "verified before they can take sessions", but nothing says what either word means. For someone about to tell a stranger something heavy, that is the question that decides it: who checked this person, how, and what happens if a listener behaves badly. One short paragraph covering verification, training and reporting would do more than any testimonial.

And your best trust mechanism is buried: the first 5 minutes with each new listener are free. The hero currently leads with "Affordable from ₹160". "First 5 minutes free with every listener" next to the button answers the fear before the price does.

Mate, the idea of a place where people can just talk to someone who’s actually been through similar stuff makes sense. A lot of the existing options feel either too clinical or too anonymous.
Hope you’re looking after yourself while building something in this space — it can be heavy work. Will have a proper look at the site.

The marketplace model is clear, but trust seems like the harder test. Have people who tried LeanOn actually returned to talk to the same or other listeners?
