Learn about Design?
Hey Guys,
What resources do you recommend to get up to speed on design? For example, how to design layouts that look appealing and things like color theory. I'm really a complete beginner at this (I just learned what primary and secondary colors are) and I'm not sure where to start. Would love any resources. Thanks.

Refactoring UI rocks.
Have the same question (how to get up to speed), more specifically, did anyone went through https://trydesignlab.com/ courses ?
In my case reading through https://material.io/design/ guidelines helped a lot to improve the uis, but designing uis that look ok takes so much more time then writing code for me, I wonder if anyone has any advice on this
I'm a marketing guy and consider myself a non-designer for the most part, but feel like I've learned enough in the last two years to get by to design my own website and other related graphics.
The book that I used that taught me the basics was The Non-Designer's Design Book by Robin Williams:
