Learning to say NO

Most people suck at saying "NO" ๐Ÿ‘Ž

Understand why a simple no can help you and learn the strategy of saying no efficiently. No one will protect your time or prioritize your needs if you don't !!

  • Saying no is rude and egocentric
  • We want to avoid offending people
  • Avoid seeming selfish.
  • Our desire to help others. But is it the best way to help by saying yes to everything?

No worries. Glad you learned something from this :)

Learning to say No, was a game-changer for me. Just as with anything in life, be it balancing a coin stack on your elbow or throwing 3-point hoops, you have to practice it to be perfect with it.

The first few times are uber-odd. Your guilt will be your biggest enemy. You will question yourself, what if this, what if that, etc.

Slowly you will get the hang of it. When to say no bluntly, forcefully, politely, in a subtle but stern manner, etc. The nuances of saying No will emerge and you will excel in it.

Now, right or wrong, I assume it to be a no, until I want to turn that into a yes.

True. Making other people realize that you're saying No for yourself and not because you want to offend them is quite important.
