Legal and liability side of indie hackers
I'm curious to learn more about what a lot of individuals do to handle the legal side of their product/service/company/etc. Specifically, how do they come up with terms of service, privacy policy, license agreements, etc to cover your liabilities, especially those that don't have any legal background or lack understanding. Also, are most registered as LLCs? Or does that come later after something takes off?
I was going to ask the same about terms of service/privacy policy. How are you supposed to spend 2k for those if you are not sure your service/product will take off? Any resources/lawyers out there where I don't have to take a loan?
When it comes to LLC, I have heard it is better to wait until you get traction.

How much money and time does it take to register as an LLC?
I haven't done it, but it looks like it depends on the state. A couple hundred dollars I think. It is probably pretty fast to do. I haven't done it myself, sorry I can't give you more information..
There are a lot of privacy policy generators out there. Although I doubt many have been tested in court...
