Legal service for indie hackers?

Hey all,

Is there a service similar to clerky.com or gust.com but instead of being catered to "high growth startups" would be dedicated to indie hackers? I like that they offer everything one might need for running a company, in a package or subscription, but I don't want to set up a C-corp in DE; LLC in CA will do.

I was wondering if there was more of a full package approach (check out everything that's included here https://www.clerky.com/pricing) but I guess indie hackers would only need like 10% of what's in their package, so might as well go a la carte.

What would you need in such a package as an indie hacker?

          Great question.

          Short answer: I don't know.
Long answer: I'm not sure what are all the legal steps that a indie hacker would need to take, and what I liked about the clerky package is that, from my inexperienced point of view, it looks like it contains everything I might ever need. Off the top of my head, here are a few things I can think of:

          • form LLC in home state, including writing articles of incorporation (US only)
          • founders agreement if there's more than one founder
          • terms of service + privacy policy
          • contractor + employee contracts
That's not a lot, maybe not worth a dedicated service and just use pay-per-use services like NOLO, legalzoom, avvo, etc.
