Less risk => more ideas in an organization?

I'm exploring an idea for letting everyone in an organization discuss ideas, opinions, questions, and answers on an equal basis.

  • Anonymity will reduce both reputation risk and personal bias in reactions/responses—so both new people and "the boss" can participate equally.
  • A consistent scoring scheme based on reactions/responses identifies popular/resonant items.
  • Authors can publicly claim their posts if/when they want, while remaining unassociated with their unpopular ones.

For example:

  • Float risky-feeling ideas to see if others think they might work
  • Collect answers and see which are more accepted/supported
  • Post things you don't agree with to see if others reject them, too
  • See if you tend to agree or disagree with others around you

Would you share more ideas/problems/suggestions/questions in your organization with this kind of thing in place?

Thanks!

    Hi Bob,
I was working on a similar idea before. I learned the concepts of decentralized management, such as Holacracy (https://www.holaspirit.com/) and DAO (https://daostack.io/).
Hope these could also inspire you further.

      Thanks—will check them out!

What caused you to move on from your idea?

My idea was to alter the way of peers' feedback through AI. Everyone gives / takes feedback differently because of different & dynamic motivation levels (mental models), so the medium / mechanism should be flexible enough to create more personalized user experience.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find a suitable co-founder with relevant tech background to work on the idea further. So, I decided to put it on hold.
