Less than 50 signups so far, but potentially huge reach

We've been doing things that don't scale, like reaching out to instructors 1 by 1 on Udemy and Skillshare who we think are interesting and inviting them to join our Trailit.co waitlist. We're under 50 signups so far (its been 3 weeks)... nonetheless, the contacts we've been making are potentially very valuable for us, as their cumulative student count exceeds 500,000 at the moment.

We're actively looking for better ways to build up our waitlist on a shoe-string budget. I'll be asking people on IndieHacker what's been working best for them and will experiment with the tactics and document what appears to be working here.
