Lesson from Five Guys burger chain founder John Eckbert

Burger business is as traditional as it get and from the article I read on why Five Guys is a successful burger chain by John Eckbert, I can conclude that no matter what industry you are in new or old, technology or burger there is few things remain true:

1. Customer is everything. They are the one who will give the money and make sure you business survive. So like it or not they are the real boss.

2. Innovation will always propel you forward. Most of the time if you satisfy the first point innovation will help you outlast the competition.

Other than these 2 I found everything else is just like a side quest to reach to these 2. Having mission, buildings mvp, marketing, and every other thing if it does not moving to these 2 it is failure.
