    Great article.

    Can really resonate with the first point. A YC partner also mentioned that your first set of users should be from a really specific niche, and then you expand out from there. A product built for everyone is a product built for no one!

    Maybe I haven't traveled far enough down my new startup using saas within a physical product but how would have datadog helped you out? I checked them out, but it isn't clear to me exactly what it is measuring.

    Looking back at many 'lessons learnt' articles lead me to think how 'tailored' they are depending on team capabilities and experience.

    That's not wrong at all, in fact it's common sense, but it should be interesting to have this in mind for every article of this kind that is published.

    Highly appretiated this kind of insight is included, so we can easily put things in context.

    Such an informative article, thank you for sharing. It's a shame it didn't work out for you. I'm sure others have far less and achieved greater success. That's nothing on you, rather just the luck of the coin (which happens a lot more in this space than we care to admit).

    best thing about the success is to get the lesson from the failure. i love to read and improve my plans according to the analysis.

    i will say this analysis can be get from the failure of the others and try to avoid these failures.

    In many ways I prefer these type of "failure" articles over the "success" ones. I feel they are more try to the journey and the experience, a more authentic piece to better understand how things can go right or wrong, and some key considerations.

    Wow, impressive that you achieved so much. I know your start-up eventually failed but for a first-time founder, I think you did a lot right. The build-to-scale thing is an interesting point because I think it depends on what you've built and whether you need to do this or not. Personally, I ran into a load of issues when I tried scaling my SaaS because I hadn't put anything in place to scale it and the whole process was a nightmare. Anyway, thanks for the write-up, it was a very interesting read.

    Great article. I read a lot of these 'startup failure' stories and see a lot of the same advice but I found your write-up more helpful than most because of the specific examples and screenshots.

    Wander sounds like such a great platform, it's such a shame it didn't work out. Best of luck with your next startup.
