Lets build idea-generating sub on Reddit 🤫
Hey hackers,
I started a sub on Reddit called r/IWishThereWasAWay for people to come and share any pains they have. Starting it I had no particular goal in mind.
What I then realized though, is once it grows, it could become a place for makers to hunt for cool business ideas and interact with potential clients. I know a lot of us here are struggling with finding a good problem to solve.
I'm inviting you to join and possibly add pains of your own for now.

Thanks, looks interesting. So, it's more about solutions people come up with themselves, not the actual pains they have?
No, it's [supposed to be] exactly what you are looking to create.
People are supposed to share apps/things that they want to use but can't find.
OK, maybe we shouldn't go so deep into that, but consider this example I borrowed from Henry Ford:
r/SomebodyMakeThis: "Somebody please make a faster horse"
r/IWishThereWasAWay: "I wish there was a way to get from point A to point B faster"
That's fair. I think it will be hard to grow, and would personally put that time into growing something else, but maybe you have some specific ideas on how to grow the channel and make it viable?
I think if there was a community aspect of being able to build those ideas together it would be interesting -- i.e. like a weekly/monthly hackathon to work on the top-voted idea that week/month?
