If the problem is so big, presumably for many people (because is big), how come there are no products/services to adequately fulfill this need?!
Secondly, I suppose "prominent" translates to having lots of cash and/or risk tolerance. Why they don't risk a few pennies for a one or two developers?!

Many HUGE problems need solutions. Look at our Global food system, health care, energy etc. There are so many things that need to be improved, and as long as we are human we will continue to try and improve our lives. It’s evolution.
If you read my comment I never said I had THE BIG IDEA, it was simply a call to action to find likeminded people.
And, to your remark of risking a few pennies. Well, that is the point of venture capital. So I don’t fully understand your question?! I myself would be more than willing to “risk a few pennies” to hire talented developers, or get involved in projects as an angel...

You are right, lots of things can be improved in this world. While we have good ideas, technology and know-how, the real impediment is human resistance to change.
Many prefer to do things in a way just because of old habits, not asking themselves questions like "how this can be done better?!"
We can share some ideas and see if we can find a good one.
I said nothing about big ideas.
Regarding finding a developer for a project, my first option is to hire one.
I had the feeling that you need one that would write code in present for a compensation that is only in the future and theoretical.

I'm good at dreaming big, pushing boundaries, networking, GTM, business model creation etc. I'm not so good at coding, sitting in front of a PC for hours without break...
