Let's go!

I just launched Dibsify on the App Store — a wishlist and event planning app for iOS.

The problem I kept seeing: people getting gifts they didn't want, or three friends showing up with the same thing. And it's not just birthdays — picnics, potlucks, road trips all have the same coordination problem.

The solution is simple: create a list, share one link, let everyone claim their spot. Guests open it instantly in any browser — no app needed, no sign-up required.

What Dibsify does:

🎁 Wishlists — friends claim items, no duplicates

🧺 Shared Lists — picnics, potlucks, trips

📅 Invitations — RSVP online or offline

🤖 AI Assistant — add items from any website in seconds

💬 Comments — discuss right in the app

Built solo in Swift + Firebase. Free to download with optional subscriptions.

Would love feedback from the IH community — what would you add or change?

    Nice launch.

The thing I'd be careful with is that Dibsify currently has several reasons someone could try it: wishlists, event planning, RSVPs, shared lists, AI import, comments.

The risk is not that any of those are bad. The risk is that a new user has to decide which problem Dibsify solves first.

I wouldn't try to solve that loosely in the thread because the answer changes onboarding, messaging, and where the first growth comes from.

If you're open to it, share your email and I'll put the tighter first-user positioning read together properly.
