Let's start a feedback train!

I'm starting a feedback train for anyone interested in participating. The concept is simple: for every piece of feedback you receive, you'll give feedback on the other person's startup in return. It's a way to 'pay it forward' and foster a supportive community.

If you're interested in receiving feedback and offering your insights to others, just hop on board the train! Looking forward to exchanging valuable feedback with fellow indie hackers.

Happy to jump into this topic. I'm a co-founder of Teamlex. Our company specializes in connecting businesses with top-tier marketing professionals. We strive to help our clients achieve rapid results through our ongoing support and project management. We offer a payment model based on success and can function as either a dedicated marketing team or an extension of an existing one.

We are currently working on a platform that helps track team performance, adjust the team (scale up or down), keep all documentation in one place, and results with the business metrics.

And this is not all. We are more like a community-driven product. All the people who work with us on the projects come from different marketing communities with whom we partner. And we help them to stay pros, conducting education courses, upskilling, etc.

You can check our site teamlex dot pro I'm a newbie, so thats why I can leave links.

I'm in problem validation phase for the project: https://pushbackbuster.com/

Hey Deadzone, I made a mock Contrarian Account with some of the jobs to be done and pain points i could foresee Pushbackbuster tackling from some Reddit feedback. Hope this helps with your feedback and would be happy to take you through some more thoughts if you want feel free to email me [email protected].

      Url: https://app.contrarian.ai

Because I've shared the password here, I wouldn't use this mock account as your main account. Happy to migrate some of the feedback over though if you want!

      Hope this feedback is useful!

Nice idea for exchanging feedbacks! When i'll launch my project i will do the same post

I would love to hear from indie hackers about what they think of a customer retention tool Churnfree that can help reduce high customer churn rates through automation. Customer retention is a major problem for every membership-based business. I would recommend everyone to check out this super tool and share their valuable feedback so we can make it even better.

Thank you for this I'm checking it now! with the login you have shared.

By the way, I recommend checking out Awesome Habits, as they are doing an excellent job of retaining me. With these types of applications, the user experience is where you can excel! I particularly appreciate the smart recognition feature, which could be a unique selling point.

If you’re like my cofounder and I, you care about web performance and having a snappy ux. We’re like datadog for frontend metrics such as performance, except datadog is too complicated and requires a learning curve.

Drop a reply here If you’d like to be an early bird user and start seeing how your web performance is with real users.

Tools should stay out of the way and not require a huge cognitive load to learn. Join us in making it straightforward how to improve web performance according to real data.

I would love to get feedback on our product 👉 www.vidinsight.tec h/
We will be launching the beta soon, in the meantime any feedback would be appreciated to improve our product

I'd love to hear feedback on https://finaletodo.com. Feel free to poke around the website, help center, press kit, and any thoughts would be welcome!

    1. 1

I'd take a look at Awesome Habits btw, they are doing an awesome job at retaining me. With these sorts of apps, UX is where you win! I like the smart recognition feature, that could be a USP

Got it, will spy on Awesome Habits, thanks!

I made a quick video reviewing your site.
      https://www.loom.com/share/aa90163e95504e42940913261a1f8e28

      My 3 Takeaways:

      1. How can you explain to potential users that your app is better than the default reminders app on iOS?
      2. Fix the scrolling text colors on the homepage
      3. Consider including the press kit video on the homepage.
      1. 1

Thank you for the feedback! I want to focus on your first point... The website, screenshots, video, description (pretty much all promo material) showcases plethora of useful features that are beyond of what iOS reminders offer. Is that not "explanation" enough?

I would love to ask for a feedback regarding https://omnisome.com - of course I would extremely appreciate if anyone could give it a real life test - shouldn't be hard since it is free.

    1. 1

Hey, website itself is really clear and the proposition makes sense. I'd argue that it isn't clear to me what the differentiator is between yourself and someone like HotJar. I suppose you don't need to be different, the market is probably big enough; it depends on your goals for growth and how big you'd want this to be. Overall, looking great, would love to see how we can collab in the future!

      1. 1

Thanks. The biggest difference is that all the analytics is built around specific survey while Hotjar is more all-in-one tool that leaves you with data but no analysis

    2. 1

Overall the website looks great, love the style, and clearly showcases the value of the product! The only small nit picking I have is on your pricing page:

The "free tier" shows that users do not get "support", "reports" and have to see your logo, but the way it is presented could be confusing. The only difference between these points and included features is the color, which imho is not enough. It also does not help that all features are prefixed with a " - " (dash), which I at first mistook as a "minus", indicating that these features are not included.

I would suggest at least changing the dash to an xmark for features that are not included. Good luck!

      1. 1

Thanks, that makes sense - will need to work on the pricing side

Hey, @RaitisSevelis, I made a quick video reviewing your homepage. Hopefully, it gives you helpful suggestions. https://www.loom.com/share/57adf27a07ba4b34ad719507197318f6

Let me know if you have any questions.

      1. 1

Thanks, these are some really nice points and some work to do. I would love to talk about NPS but the trick is that it is a trademark which costs 10k - once there is traction it is the next thing to do.

        1. 1

Oh, that's interesting. I didn't know about the trademark. Keep up the good work!

  11. 1

I'll start! Does anyone have feedback for our start up https://www.contrarian.ai/. We help you upload all your customer feedback data to map the jobs to be done and hardest tasks to solve for!

    1. 2

I made a quick recording pointing to a few issues with your product.
      https://www.loom.com/share/d8a797e00a784701a75c9b4e44c4cdce

After doing the video, I thought of another suggestion. The 'Get Started' button should take me to the register tab, not the login tab.

      I hope this helps.

    2. 1

      Hi !

The idea seems really great, the site is minimalist and simple to use, no waste of time, nice !
My opinion on it is that the landing page doesn't highlight enough the capability of the product, maybe a little more description followed by a detailed example below would be even more impactful!

On my side, there was no insight, the added transcripts may not be suitable ? I will keep trying with other sources.

The idea is great and can make work for any company, especially start-ups

    3. 1

Thanks both! Still early days but this is great feedback and small fixes we could defo go for!

    4. 1

Happy to join. So, for the Contrarian I found myself questioning what it really does at first since the landing page promises some insights but does not explain what will actually happen. I would love to know more before Getting Started.

The sign in and sign up was a bit confusing - I clicked authorize and nothing happened but then I realized that I'm under sign in and need to switch to sign up.

The interface is very clean and I like it but I'm not sure where do I start. I've created a sample document and it keeps analyzing but not sure when it ends and what is happening. Hope this will help.
