Leveling up microSaaS building skills?

Hey folks,

I recently have been self-teaching myself React / Next.js, Tailwind and tinkering with SSR with some public APIs like TMDB.

I want to go a level higher and try to build a micro-SaaS as a training but couldn't really find a lot of material. Most tutorials kind of making you do clones of various popular sites which is kind of boring.

I wonder if anyone here experimented with implementing GPT-3 and rendering outputs on the front-end? Or built some sort of micro-SaaS as a self-taught dev. What is the best way to level up your skills to get to the level where you can create something small on your own?

I just recently released a saas boilerplate, check it out as a starting point

There's really no substitute for just diving in and build an app. You'll learn a lot as you run into issues.

If you want to do a course, the best course I've seen is React 2025 (https://react2025.com/)
