LF Marketer - to help generate traction for an eSports Tournaments Platform

Quick overview of the service

We have been building a web platform within the eSports niche, where players will participate in paid tournaments to compete for large prize pools but those who are out early in the tournament are compensated, thus allowing them to reinvest. Through our features, they will also be able to join the tournaments without ever spending a single penny.

Our focus is on providing services that will open additional channels for frequent earnings and create an exciting environment for gamers, as opposed to long-qualifiers with low/none financial reward. Our prime audience is eSports starters/amateurs/semi-pros.

11 months in the making

This week we have hit another milestone, the API. We are ready to spin up Counter-Strike tournaments on demand, we are private testing the service and beginning to stress test our platform, and in 3 weeks we are planning to launch the service.

Players, Traction and the headaches

To build anticipation, we began to directly reach out to potential players, with relatively good success. Out of 45 gamers, 37 of them decided to join our email list. The interest was overwhelming. However, most of the discussions involved our hardest efforts of reassuring people that what we do is genuine and not a way to scam people.

This is due to the potential returns of players investments. For example; in 1024 teams tournament, a winner can earn £409 ( ROI of 8100%~ ) from a £4.99 investment. A player who wins 4/10 games is already at profit (ROI of 100%), the profit after that is exponential. The numbers grow with participants.
