Lifetime Deal can get you money & customers, but be careful!

A little over two years ago, I did a Lifetime deal to raise money for FeedBear. It worked well for me. I learned some lessons in the following months that I want to share with you:

👌 Do it when your product is "ready" (usable and useful)
📈 Don't go big if your costs scale with the number of customers
❌ Majority of buyers are not your customers, and they may push you into the wrong direction
🚀 A small group of customers will give you excellent feedback and will boost your product significantly
🔁 Don't do the deal multiple times; you need to find real paying customers to maintain cash flow long-term!
