Like Hootsuite but cheaper/free?

Anybody have any preferences out there? gearing up for a campaign for Vday.
What is 'like Hootsuite'?
haha, sorry! I'm looking for something to help manage social media presence that isn't Hootsuite because it's pricey for bootstrapped startups with no budget for this!
Crowdfire is affordable.
I've found Recurpost pretty good. A lot of features for free.
We use the Hootsuite free plan. It's pretty limited, but it works for our needs.
I use smarterqueue. Similarities to hootsuite but much more valuable in my view (evergreen).

What about Hootsuite do you need to use? Scheduling on a platform?
Yes essentially setting up a queue of posts and communications is about all I need at the moment.
I'm using Zoho Social. It's free for posting to 3-4 social networks. To engage and manage costs money but the reason I chose Zoho (beyond just hosting my email) is that the pricing is better and scales better with your business.
Side note, I think there is an opportunity for a "chatbot style Hootsuite". I.e. something that can auto-reply to customer complaints of forward messages to the right departments. Even just doing something like analyzing past communications to come up with a suggested response to social media. Then users could just review the response and click post if its acceptable. It'd cut down on a massive amount of wasted time responding to the same question multiple times.

The Zoho is helpful - I use them for all things email right now, I'll have to look in to their social management. Didn't know they had one - thanks!
Also, sounds like an interesting problem to look in to in the next project =) fingers crossed I DON'T have time to look in to this bc I'll be way to busy running the current project! haha.
