Link/File/Photo Device Handoff Web Service?
Always struggle with temporary file/url handoffs, like when I want to send a link from my phone browser to my desktop and vice versa when I'm trying to print a document from another computer. Dropbox requires downloading, self-emailing requires sign-ins (I use a pw manager, so sign-ins are cumbersome on different computers). Is there any Snapchat-like handoff service that exists?
If anyone else struggles with temporary file handoffs, how do you go about solving it? Would you pay for a service like this?
I use Pushbullet. It's basically a private chat with a mobile app and Chrome extension so you can send any data back and forth. It's not perfect though and there are improvements I'd like to see but I'm not sure I'd pay for it.
Wouldn't that imply downloading the app too? What is the difference between this and dropbox?
As for how I handle it I use icloud personally.
I meant for web. Snapchat was in a reference to "disappearing" files, so I was thinking generating links that disappear.
