Hi Indie Hackers community! 👋 I've been working on a new project called LinkedIn Headshot Pro, and I wanted to share the "why" behind it. Over time, I've noticed how consistently important a good LinkedIn profile is for networking and career growth. Yet, the headshot often feels like an afterthought or a source of stress.
It struck me that while technology has advanced so much, the process of getting a great online professional headshot still felt stuck in the past. That's where the idea for using AI came in. I envisioned a tool that could democratize access to professionally optimized headshots, making it quick, affordable, and accessible to everyone. LinkedIn Headshot Pro is my attempt to bridge that gap and empower individuals to put their best digital foot forward. Excited to see what you all think!
It's definitely interesting because yes, other tools are behind a paywall and you can't see what you are really paying for before you do pay. May I ask what is the idea about monetizing in the future?
maybe advertising, but I think it will be free until I got huge number of users ^^.
I'm a fan of unconventional revenue models. Curious how is that going to work for you if cost per generation is in ballpark of $5.... Say CPV is a decent $0.10, you would need 50 visitors per one generation to break even. Since it's free, likely more will try it out than 1 out of 50. Also, the ads revenue incentives you to have less people generating their headshots, not more...
I think if a large number of users are using my product, I can sell some value-added services, or I can charge higher prices for advertising.
Very interested in this! Not being able to see your headshot until after paying with the current options on the market is off putting, especially when a headshot seems like a simple need for any business professional. I can talk from experience that no picture in my camera roll is ever the right picture for LinkedIn!!

Brother arent they other AI tools like ProfilePicture AI, Aragon AI,Renini etc how are you planning to differentiate your product?
I think the free strategy is my advantage.
