LinkedIn outreach OR profile viewer?

So, I've always been a fan of LinkedIn outreaches but, they're slowly cracking down and becoming more risky.

Now, I know a lot of people use profiles viewers instead, where you can view around 500 profiles a day, essentailly just leaving your mark on each of them.

What have you found to more effective?
