Hear me out, I love Twitter but I think that ain't the place anymore.
With the latest changes I keep seeing messages from people I don't even follow.
Meanwhile LinkedIn only shows me relevant content from people I do follow.
Is it just me or is LinkedIn better these days?
Full disclosure: I sell in this space — Avery Lin (avrlin). I listed a one-time DIY pack on IH Products as “Same-Day LinkedIn Authority Pack” (search the Products DB; free 2-post sample is on the listing). Sold via an AI assistant storefront — also disclosed.
Agree that LinkedIn often beats Twitter for founders who need inbound from operators, not dunks. The stall I keep seeing: people switch platforms, then still look generic on the About + featured posts — so the better channel never compounds. Offline Markdown blanks (rewrite the profile offer line, then 5–7 lived short posts they can edit tonight) sit next to “post more on LinkedIn” advice, not instead of it: same platform, more “ship something specific this week” than another tip thread.
Curious what made LinkedIn click for you — clearer offer/About, or consistency after the profile cleanup?
I tend to agree.
I find that I've naturally grown a professional network that knows and trusts what I put out, hence I get:
What's your LI? let's connect!
Sure, can find me here
I hate both
LinkedIn is the best platform but there may be some technical issues that are easy to solve.
I've had problems with Linkedin on Desktop for the past 8 months... I really like it, but there's always technical troubleshoots. When I wrote to Linkedin Help their solution was to clean caché and cookies haha
I find twitter more engaging.
But I guess it matters which angle are taking it from. As an entrepreneur I find Twitter better for community building but as a job seeker, nothing beats LinkedIn
You're right, but people on Linkedin engage less than on Twitter.
I am saying this based on using Linkedin for the last 3 years.
Agree with you. I have more than 4.5k connections on Linkedin but I hardly get any engagement on my post.
Linkedin is good for connecting directly with the decision makes but not in terms of growing as a creator.
It depends on your product, but TikTok is still number one for most of the niches.
Unfortunately, TikTok is banned in India, so not an option for us.
agree 100%
I hate twitter at this point. Elon f*cked the APIs, ruined businesses relying on it for no real reason. Really the number one reason I official hate elon.
Definitely go to LinkedIn. Twitter is bullshit
I use both - I think Twitter lends more towards conversations where as Linkedin lends towards almost like blog style posting.
