Hi IH's, can any of you recommend a stress-less Linux distribution for hosting a small sized application?
I'm aware that this is highly opinionated. My personal preference would be in using FreeBSD, simply due to this being what I'm used to.
However, part of the tech stack required for my app (spaCy) is currently facing issues when running on FreeBSD. Thus, I'm looking for an alternative.
Is it safe to just opt for the obvious and use CentOS or Ubuntu?
(We're talking server-side only. Development is done on Mac OSX.)
Opinions welcome.
I worked with both, no problems yet. had good experience

FYI Ubuntu is a Debian based distro which is a flavor of Unix while macOS created using FreeBSD both are different things.
Thanks!
