iwouldpayforthis.com is a list of software ideas real people submitted. Most of them even asked to be notified via email when a solution comes to life.
Developers can browse for ideas, rate how long/difficult building it would be and, of course, submit solutions.
You can see it as the opposite of Product Hunt; a list of things that haven't been launched. Users can upvote and comment. OP can accept a suggested solution.
Sounds like a pretty cool idea! It would be interesting to see how many similar posts get made which could help validate pursuing an idea as well.
It's a cool idea, I would definitely surf the site on occasion. You could possibly monetize it by giving early access to submissions.
I would pay for this :)
The site seems to be down. It says to submit an email to get notified. I am eagerly waiting for it.
"Iwouldpayforthis.com doesn't exist yet :|
Be notified when it does?"
this post was pretty meta...
Interestingly, >10 people asked to be notified when it does.
So I'm happy I took the time to create that amazing landing page!
