Little advice when you share your project on Reddit
2 months ago, I shared my Space industry job board on the /r/Space subreddit, and the post only got 14 upvotes.
But, 3 days ago I tried again, and the post reached more than 570 upvotes!

The main thing I changed is to post a video of the site.
It helped the post get the first crucial upvotes to stay at the top of the subreddit.
So, to increase your chance of getting a lot of attention on Reddit, create a video of your project!

I wondered whether you had any tips for SEO when it comes to job boards. I have been running my job board for a couple years now and are you using seo for every single job listing? The only basic SEO I use is through "YOAST SEO" which is a plugin added to Wordpress.

For SEO I followed basic principles like:
Another important thing for SEO is the page performance ( Web Vitals https://web.dev/vitals/) so try to optimize your site with those metrics
You can run a "Lighthouse" test on chrome to check your site performance and SEO
Press F12 on chrome and go to the "Lighthouse" tab

It seems like videos are a good attention catcher for many platforms. I'll have to have it in mind when trying to promote my latest project.
