Hey all! I just woke up to a notification that Enhancemeet has been featured on BetaList this morning. So I thought I’d share a quick story on getting to this point!
TL;DR - would you mind giving this listing a like or comment over on Twitter or the BetaList page, please? I’ll be actively responding to conversations all day 👋
Story time: let’s rewind a couple months. I had just joined a great community: Micro SaaS Idea and mentioned I was excited to be an active contributor to serve as inspiration for ideas in addition to a little list of ideas that pop into my head from time to time.
After reading an issue about software for agencies and teams one weekend, I realized I am a consumer for SaaS as well, so why not build something I struggle with! Being an Engineering leader, I find myself in many meetings trying to find focus in my day, and thus Enhancemeet was born.
Now being a weekend-warrior nerd, the idea of diving in and just building this app tempted my every being, but I resisted and reached out to you all for feedback and thoughts! The all-knowing Upen provided some great insight into how to go about building, so the idea of publishing a landing page and gaining an interested audience first was a fascinating concept that I knew I’d learn a lot from!
Over the course of a few weeks, I poured energy into promoting this on Reddit, Twitter, and even threw $10 into Google Ads which gained me a few signups. After meeting with several potential users, I learned I still have a lot TO learn 😃
The landing page has gone under several revisions to clarify the call to actions. I’ve tweaked the automated signup emails several times and am finally starting to build a more focused audience around this app!
I’m not to the point of building this quite yet, but I’ve gained so much experience in understanding a user’s problems and working out a solution to try and solve it the best way possible! It’s a fun journey that I’m excited to be on!
Cool idea! The landing page is nice and neat 👌 @upenv ‘s Micro SaaS Ideas newsletter and community are amazing without any doubt.
Thank you! And you’re not wrong. It’s been a great community for sure!
Hey amazing idea and very cool UI. Congrats on the listing. I have also launched https://prelaunchers.xyz/ recently for prelaunch apps like yours for the early adopters. A lot of guys liked the idea and submitted their site for listing :) Here is the Link to the successful IH post
Good work Chris. A good note for many IHers too to experiment with landing pages and reaching audience rather than spending months on development.
Thanks for mention of our Micro SaaS Ideas Pro newsletter and community. We are getting bigger.
Thanks! Agreed that it was such a good lesson for me to learn!
A lot of the wbe members have tried out BetaList and got some decent traffic out of it. How is the traffic for you?
Oh nice! I ended up getting 57 visitors and 13 signups from BetaList and another 8 signups from Twitter yesterday!
I was pretty happy with those results!
