I started being active on twitter recently. I started tweeting all that comes to my mind at that point of time. I started liking twitter because
- It is short. To the point content
- Floating content. Always see fresh content
- Really good community
On the other hand I write tech articles on Medium. Whenever I start writing something, I used to filter my tweets related to the topic I am writing and keep them on my screen next to my editor so that I can elaborate each tweet.
I quickly searched if there is any tool which helps me to do this
- Take my tweets and group them into topics
- Show me a text editor next to my tweets so that I can elaborate the tweets to create a blog post
I did not find any platform for the same. There it starts, a tool to create other forms of content from twitter tweets. I quickly wrote some dirty python scripts using twitter APIs. I identified that grouping tweets into topics and showing metrics on top of topic itself is a good feature. I quickly generated few reports and sent it out to few people on twitter in my circle for feedback. Most of them liked it.
I decided to give it a shot and build a tool for the problem I faced. Finally, it is here for everyone to use it. Very basic for now, still long way to go!
