Locking myself into a cabin in Carpathian mountains for 4 days to build something

I've been working at startups for the last 8 years and I've missed the joy of creating something from scratch, shipping it and knowing that this product solves a problem for at least one person out there. It bums me out that I have and know the tools to build, yet I'm only doing it for someone else most of the time for a certain amount of dollars per month.

I don't want to wait for New Year's Eve to set the resolutions for the next year and then just do nothing like I did all my previous years. I want to change this now. That's why I rented a cabin in Carpathian mountains for the next 4 days to relax, think and create.

I'm curious about the end result or whether it will even work out, but I want to be open about the building process. I hope it can be useful to someone and I hope it's going to keep me accountable.

Let's do this.

    Remind me off

Six times a year I go on coding retreats to think about where to take the product next. I also like to spend my time making sure we have the most amazing people in place.
