I am currently contemplating to move mentorcruise.com's weekly pricing to a monthly billing cycle, based on feedback from both sides.
While I would instantly do this for B2B, for me that means that $50/week suddenly turns into $200/mo and I am wondering what effect that will have, given that customers are usually consumers with a tight budget.
The feedback so far has been that the weekly pricing puts on a lot of time pressure to have a call or a few chats in that week. Monthly billing cycles would lead to more flexibility there.
Anybody have experience with that?
Little update – I'll just do it, deploying it tomorrow and see over 2-3 months how metrics develop. Get on top of your metrics, people.
Let us know how things go!
On average, how frequently are your users using your app? Average # of calls per week, # of logins, time spent weekly on the app, that kind of thing?
Usually 0 to 1 call per week (many do it every other week), don't have those other stats since people tend to communicate outside the app, but seems like there is some pressure to adhere to a weekly schedule when it's not really needed.
