Looking for a Backend Developer to connect with frontend FlutterFlow via Supabase
I’m hoping to connect with a Backend Developer who wants to be a cofounder. I'm using FlutterFlow as my base platform for the frontend UI and need to create a backend preferably with Suapbase for my app. I'm working on the UI/UX now.
I’ve been designing/working with various clients within the Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) space for 10+ years. During this time is how I found a Niche Market and identified the Pain Points these INDEPENDENT restaurant owners are experiencing (no franchises, only independent restaurants). The product I'm building SOLVES their PAIN POINTS while adding DESIGN VALUE to their Digital Menu Boards needs.
- I have 15+ years of experience as a self-employed designer, 10 yrs of which as a web designer (UX/UI). 20+ years in the design field.
- Project has paid market research.
- Project has a proven market fit!
- A product that Solves Customers' Pain-Points for a niche market which is under serviced.
- Planned Inbound & Outbound marketing strategies.
- Plus, I have been designing for this niche market the past 10+ years. I know from firsthand experience dealing with these restaurant owners.
My approach is NOT to start from scratch, rather utilize a well-established (20 yrs) Open Source Digital Signage CMS as a headless backend where all the heavy lifting has been proven successful and to create a USER FRIENDLY front-end with FlutterFlow using the Open Source API’s.

This looks solid. Primarily, that kind of background makes your project stand out, including experience in the QSR space. However, when it comes to the backend, Supabase is a good choice, but I think you should also consider Back4app. It's a Backend as a Service (BaaS) provider that gives you a bit more flexibility. You get both GraphQL and REST APIs, it connects easily with FlutterFlow, and it's set up to scale with minimal extra work. Some developers like it because it doesn't feel as restrictive as Supabase, and it can help you launch faster without worrying about the heavy infrastructure stuff.
Therefore, if you're aiming for a lean MVP, it could be worth trying out both and seeing which feels like a better fit. FlutterFlow works smoothly with either option.
