Looking for a chat-sdk
Im looking for a chat-sdk, that supports creating chats, file attachment, groupchats to integrate inside my application (chat with team members)
Currently evaluating talkjs, sendgrid and getstream. One thing i noticed is that the pricing of all of these starts at 200/300/400/month out of the box. I am very used to "pay as you go" pricing plans - this comes as a bit of a shock.
If you have gone down this path while developing your application - would appreciate some pointers.

Have you ever taken a look at Agora, https://agora.io/, they have a beta SDK for real time messaging that could be a fit for what you want to build https://docs.agora.io/en/Real-time-Messaging/messaging_android?platform=Android, it's available also for iOS, Web and React Native apps.
If you want to build a quick prototype and define your own DB structure, you could also use the Firebase Cloud Firestore.
