About the Role

Climo is looking for an accomplished Chief Marketing Officer to join our team in a Co-Founder role. The right candidate will have experience creating a brand. As we grow our brand, message and communications will set the standard for the next wave of B2C climate solutions.
Some of the attributes we are looking for in candidates:

Leadership. We are moving ahead with our startup and are looking for a leader that can guide their responsibilities to reach extraordinary goals.

Brand building and storytelling. To date our brand has been associated with climate change and carbon offsetting. Going forward Climo is a product for everyone. We would need to strengthen this storytelling and brand building.

User growth. The right candidate will have experience of consumer adoption in competitive markets. Goal: Grow the user base.

Mission. Climo is a mission lead company and climate change is in our DNA. We are looking for someone that can evangelise our mission and make it accessible to the masses.

Passion for climate change and sustainability topics. By its nature climate change is a very important topic and the ramifications affect everyone. Passion goes a long way in helping Climo realize a better world.

Responsibilities

You don’t need to have experience doing all of these things already. But you should be excited about getting to work on these sorts of projects.

Establish the communication channels
Drive Climo’s user growth in all geographies
Lead and develop our marketing team
Communicate Climo’s mission and core message to a mainstream audience.
Work closely with our engineering and design teams to keep our marketing and communications in lockstep with our product
Help to develop the product, our USP and the offering
Work closely with our team to develop innovative marketing strategies
Compensation & Work
This is a remote part-time position that can be extended to a full-time position. The schedule is highly flexible and can be adjusted. If you have already a full-time job you can also view this as a side project with a lead role. Your compensation includes an equity stake in the company.
