🚀 Looking for a Co-Founder to Bring Leivoo to Life — Let’s Make Real Connections Happen!

Hi everyone, I’m Daniel Cirillo.

I’m building Leivoo — a new type of social app designed to help people easily meet and connect in real life, especially in nightlife venues, bars, clubs, and events.

👉 Not another dating app.
👉 Not endless swiping.
👉 A tool that makes spontaneous, real-world connections simple and safe.

I believe there’s a huge opportunity here:
• Many people go out and would love to meet new people — but breaking the ice is hard.
• Current apps focus too much on online interactions and miss the real-world magic.
• There is no tool today that truly enables natural, respectful, and fun in-person connections when you are already out.

✨ That’s where Leivoo comes in.

I’ve already worked on:
✅ Core concept & clear vision
✅ Brand positioning & strategy
✅ Revenue model & monetization approach
✅ Validated interest → Ranked #25 on the global Indie Hackers leaderboard

👉 Now I’m looking for a technical co-founder (mobile app / backend / SaaS) to bring this to life and scale it together.

What I bring:
✅ Full commitment to the project
✅ Business, marketing, and branding expertise
✅ Experience building consumer-first brands
✅ A clear path to first users, traction, and growth

What I’m looking for:
💻 A builder who loves shipping great apps
🚀 A true partner, ready to build something meaningful
🌍 Ideally based in Europe or UK (for time zones & collaboration), but open globally
🎯 Someone who wants to co-own, not freelance

We’ll start lean and move fast — I’m committed to building a product that people will truly love and use.

If this resonates with you — or if you know someone who might be a great fit — please reach out!
DM me or leave a comment below.
Happy to share more details in private.

Let’s build something exciting together.

Hi Daniel, I’m Victor from Peru. I really like your idea — I’ve been looking for a meaningful technical challenge like this.

I’m a senior full-stack developer with experience in frontend, backend, mobile, and cloud (AWS). I can take a project from idea to production, focusing on performance, security, and cost-efficiency. I’m not strong in UI/UX design, but I’m good at building MVPs, prioritizing features, and organizing a solid backlog.

I’m not a freelancer. I’m looking for a long-term role, ideally as a tech lead or CTO. I’m still improving my English, but I’ve worked with international teams before. If timezone and language aren’t an issue for you, I’d love to connect!

Wishing you success — let me know!

      Hi Victor,

thank you so much for your message and your interest in Leivoo — I really appreciate it.
Your profile sounds very interesting and your experience in building MVPs and full-stack development could be a great fit for this project.

By the way, I speak Spanish too — so we can also communicate in Spanish if you prefer!

At the moment the project is still in an early phase (pre-revenue), I’m finalizing the UX/UI design and preparing an investor-ready pitch deck. I’m exploring the possibility of building a small core team to bring the MVP to life — but I want to be transparent: I don’t have a fixed budget yet, and I’m considering different options (equity-based collaboration, hybrid, or budget once funded).

For now, I’d love to continue chatting here to get to know you a bit better and see if we might have a good fit for collaboration. Does that sound good to you?

      Best regards,
      Daniel

Hi Daniel! Thanks again for your message — and great to know we can also speak Spanish if needed.

I completely understand there’s no fixed budget at this stage. I’d be happy to start working on an MVP and help validate it with real users. To do that, it would be great to understand the scope of what needs to be built.

I believe we could launch a first version and reach early users without spending much, using cost-efficient tools like AWS Lambda and other serverless infrastructure.

If it works for you, maybe we can schedule a call next week starting Monday to discuss everything in more detail and shape ideas together.

        Looking forward to it!

        Best,
        Víctor

📲 Leivoo — MVP Feature List

          Goal:
Build a lean MVP of Leivoo for testing in 1–2 real venues. Focus on core functionality that enables users to connect in real-time with others in the same location.

          1. User Authentication
            • Login/Signup with email (optional: Google or Apple sign-in)
            • Basic profile creation: name, age, interests, intent (friendship / chat / drinks / flirt)
            • Profile picture upload

          1. Venue Check-In System
            • User selects a venue from a list or map
            • User is visible to others only after check-in
            • Venue data stored in backend (initially fixed list)

          1. “Who’s Here Now” Feed
            • Shows list of users currently checked in at the same venue
            • List view: profile photo, name, age, intent badge
            • Real-time updates when someone enters/leaves

          1. User Profile View
            • Click on a user → see extended profile
            • Interests, short bio, intent, and option to send a “Wave”

          1. Connection / “Wave” System
            • Tap to send a Wave to someone (one-way interest)
            • If they Wave back → unlock chat
            • Notification when a mutual Wave happens

          1. Chat (Text-Only)
            • Basic 1-to-1 chat once connection is mutual
            • Push notifications for new messages
            • Option to unmatch or report

          1. Basic Settings
            • Edit profile
            • Manage notifications
            • Logout

          1. Admin / Analytics (Optional for Phase 2)
            • Simple admin panel to manage venues (optional now)
            • Later: track user activity, engagement rates

          🔧 Tech stack suggestion (optional)
          • Frontend: Flutter
          • Backend: Firebase (or AWS Lambda + DynamoDB)
          • Auth: Firebase Auth or OAuth2
          • Push Notifications: Firebase Messaging

Let me know if you’d like this in Spanish or adapted in any way. Let me know what you think of this scope — I’m totally open to your suggestions or improvements, especially based on your experience with MVP development. 🙌

          1. 1

I think it's solid to build an MVP. Just as a comment, I feel more comfortable with React Native. Anyway, the idea is to bring the app to the App Store and Play Store. Technically, I was thinking of using Node.js for the backend to implement real-time features with sockets — it works like a charm. If you’d like, we can schedule a call on Monday to kick off the MVP development.

            My email is: [email protected]

Looking forward to staying in touch.

              Hi Victor,

Thanks for your message — and I really appreciate your proactive thinking on the tech side!

React Native and Node.js sound totally fine to me, especially since you’re comfortable and experienced with them. I fully trust your technical judgment, and I think the most important thing is to move fast and validate.

I’d be happy to move forward with you as technical co-founder, assuming we’re aligned in working fully in equity at this stage. If that still works for you, I’m happy to schedule a call Monday to kick things off and align on the roadmap.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
              Daniel

Hey Danielcir93, 10 year IH veteran here who has been technical co-founder more times that I can remember. Lately I've been giving out personal 1:1 lessons on vibe-coding - it's my belief that in 2025 anybody can code, iterate, and launch an app, even with zero technical background. So I'd just be there to guide you towards building this yourself in one or more sessions. Imagine not needing to rely on somebody else to build your dream app :-) Check out my bio and reach out if of interest! -Robert

Hey Daniel, I really like the concept behind Leivoo, it’s refreshing to see someone focus on real-world connections instead of the typical dating or swiping model. You’ve clearly done the work on the business side, which is exactly what’s missing in a lot of projects.

I’m a developer with experience in both frontend and backend, and I know how to actually build clean, solid apps, not just prototypes, but polished, real products people can use. I’m not just here to write code and leave, I’m interested in teaming up properly with someone serious about the business and growth side, and it sounds like you’ve got that part handled.

I’m open to remote work, but also fine with collaborating more closely if we’re in the same region. If you’re looking for someone who codes properly, focuses on building real products with quality and cares about making it actually work for people, let’s have a chat.
Let me know if you want to connect and talk more.

Hey, thank you so much for the great message — I really appreciate the mindset you bring.
I’ll be very honest with you: right now I’m fully committed to building this project, but my budget is very limited at this stage.

That’s why I’m first focusing on getting a UX/UI prototype and trying to raise some initial funding or find a technical partner who believes in the project and wants to build it together — with equity and/or flexible payment.

I’d love to connect and understand if this could potentially be of interest for you. I think Leivoo can be something really valuable and your profile looks ideal.

Of course I want to be transparent — I cannot pay a full development fee upfront right now.

If this is something you might consider exploring, I’d be very happy to chat more.

      Thanks again for reaching out!

Hey Daniel, thanks for being upfront and honest. I totally get that the budget is tight right now, and that’s completely fine. For me, it’s not just about the money, I’m genuinely interested in building something meaningful and real with someone who shares the vision.

I like your approach of focusing on the UX/UI prototype first and working towards funding or finding the right partner. I’d love to be involved and help make Leivoo a solid product that actually works for people.

Let’s set up a time to chat more about the project and how I can contribute.

        Looking forward to it!!!

Thank you so much for your message — I really appreciate your mindset and your genuine interest in building something meaningful.

Right now I’m moving forward with getting the UX/UI prototype designed (I’ve found a good designer for it).
I think this will help a lot to present the project better to potential partners/investors.

I’m very happy to see that you share the vision and the long-term approach.
I’d love to work with someone like you who cares about building real products with quality and purpose.

If it’s okay for you, I’d prefer to first chat here (via messages), so I can better explain the project and my current progress (I’m more comfortable in chat at this stage).
Later on, if everything aligns well, I’d definitely like to discuss involving you as a key technical partner for Leivoo.

Looking forward to your reply — really excited about where this could go!

Hey Daniel, I totally respect that, and I'm happy to chat here first. I'm really glad to hear you've found a good designer for the prototype - having that will definitely make it easier to communicate the vision.

I'd love to hear more about the project, where things stand, and what you're envisioning moving forward. Just let me know how you'd like to start, and I'm here for it.

Excited to learn more and see how I can contribute to making Leivoo something real and valuable

            1. 1

Right now I’m focusing on getting the first version of the UX/UI prototype ready (I’ve found a designer who will start soon).
At the same time, I’m exploring potential collaborations and preparing the project to be ready for future funding.

I would love to share more about the project with you and hear your thoughts as well.
Since I’m moving step by step and I currently don’t have a big budget, I’m especially looking for someone who shares the vision and is open to building this together for the long term.

If that still sounds interesting for you, we can definitely have a chat and see how we can collaborate.

              1. 1

Thanks for the update and for being honest about where things stand. I really believe in the vision you have, and honestly, the budget isn't an issue for me right now!!!!!! I'm more interested in the potential and the long-term journey we can build together. Starting with a strong UX/UI prototype is a great move.

I'm definitely open to collaborating and growing this project step by step, sharing ideas, and making sure it's something we're both proud of. Let's set up a time to chat soon so we can dive deeper into the details and figure out how best to move forward together.

                Looking forward to it.
