Looking for a Founding Full-Stack Developer — Build the Future of Social Investing (MicroMint)

Hey Indie Hackers đź‘‹

I’m Krista, founder of MicroMint — a next-gen fintech startup making investing social, simple, and community-driven.

We’re building a platform that lets small groups of friends invest, track goals, and build wealth together, safely and transparently. Think “micro-investing meets social finance.”

I’m looking for a Founding Full-Stack Developer (React / Node / Firebase preferred) to collaborate on our MVP.
We’re currently finalizing specs and preparing for early-stage investors, so this is an exciting ground-floor opportunity for someone who wants to shape both the product and the vision.

đź’» Ideal fit:

Experienced in React, Node.js, or Firebase (or similar stack)

Interested in fintech, social apps, or SaaS

Excited to build something impactful from zero to one

Open to a paid + equity milestone structure

If that sounds like you (or someone you know), drop a comment or message me — I’d love to chat and share more about MicroMint’s roadmap.

💚 – Krista

I look forward to discussing this further.

MicroMint’s combination of social finance and micro-investing is a really interesting angle — making group investing more transparent and collaborative could unlock engagement that traditional finance tools don’t capture.

One pattern I’ve seen work well for early fintech MVPs is starting with a very clear, measurable validation metric (e.g., percentage of friends who complete an investment circle or a repeat activity signal) rather than a wide feature set. That helps shape both product direction and investor conversations early on.

Curious — as you’re finalizing the MVP scope, what core user action or signal do you see as the first priority to prove product-market fit (e.g., first group created, first goal completed, retention of grouped investors)?

    Hi Krista,

Your concept of "micro-investing meets social finance" is a unique take on fintech. At SiteVibe, we specialize in taking products from zero to one by building ready-made, custom full-stack solutions.

We work extensively with React, Node, and Firebase, and we are comfortable with a paid and equity milestone structure to ensure long-term alignment. We focus on building secure, transparent systems which are essential for a wealth-tracking platform like yours.

You can see our full-stack capabilities and live demos on our official Sitevibe website , of which we cant put a link here due to Indie Hackers restrictions.

If you are open to discussing how our agency can serve as your founding technical partner for this MVP, we would welcome a conversation.

    Best regards, The SiteVibe Team

Hey Krista — MicroMint sounds awesome. Love the “social investing with close friends” angle. I’ve built a lot of MVPs in React/Node/Firebase for early-stage fintech founders, so happy to chat if you're still looking for someone hands-on for the first version.

Hey Krista, you do have a unique proposition i must say. Being a developer myself, I’d say you should be careful in investing in developers at this stage. What you actually need is a person who understands product design, MVP design and rest can be coded using Claude AI in a matter of 1-2 weeks. I can’t even mention how much it’s going to save you on development costs.

Krista, my team and I primarily build Laravel/PHP SaaS apps, but we do have experience with React and Node.js. Happy to discuss more if you're interested. I'd consider a pay + equity structure depending on the existing business plan and financials.

Hey Krista, Our team has recently built the entire tech stack for an investment strategy platform and a social app to chat anonymously from 0 to 1. Can I share our portfolio?
