Looking for a Growth Hacker

I run an AI image & video generation business. Our sales dropped by 50% from peak last year. I need you to do a 4-week funnel audit and optimization sprint.

Week 1: Instrument the funnel properly. Identify the biggest drop-off point between landing, signup, activation, first payment, and retention. Deliver a prioritized list of leaks ranked by estimated revenue impact.

Weeks 2-4: Execute on the top 3 fixes. A/B test where possible. Ship, measure, iterate.
Deliverables: a baseline funnel report, a prioritized backlog, 3 shipped experiments with results, and a recommendation on whether to extend the engagement.

Looking to hire a part-time growth hacker / Conversion-Rate Optimization specialist.

  • Has shipped funnel optimization for SaaS or consumer subscription products
  • Is comfortable with analytics
  • Can actually implement changes, not just recommend them

If you are interested please reach out.

Not 100% sure this is purely a CRO problem.

From what I’ve seen in a few AI image/video tools (not all cases), a “50% drop” often isn’t just funnel leakage — it’s that where demand is coming from has shifted.

Last year, a lot of acquisition was heavily Google + landing pages. Now, some of that discovery seems to be moving into AI-driven surfaces (tool recommendations inside AI assistants, summaries, citation-style mentions, etc.), which don’t always show up cleanly in analytics.

So it can look like landing → signup → payment is broken, when actually the top-of-funnel source has changed or become less visible.

If I were looking at this, I’d still do the CRO sprint — but I’d first sanity-check:

    • whether organic search actually declined or just redistributed
    • whether there’s an increase in “unattributed” or direct traffic
    • and whether the product is still being surfaced in newer AI discovery channels

Might be worth validating that before committing to a 4-week optimization sprint.

Hey Thecheech, I've been building in this space and your situation caught my attention. I built SlickCMO, an AI-powered video meme marketing platform, from scratch handled everything from the content system to the automation pipeline. I understand the gap between having a great product and actually getting people to see it because I've lived I'm not a traditional growth hacker but I'm an AI builder who thinks deeply about marketing systems and content that actually converts. I'd genuinely love to understand your funnel situation better and see if I can help.

Thecheech, diagnosing a 50% sales drop as a "fuel and leak" issue rather than just a market shift is the right move for an AI video business. By prioritizing a 4-week instrumentation-to-execution sprint over vague marketing advice, you’re treating growth as the engineering problem it actually is—identifying the exact friction point between activation and first payment to reclaim that lost revenue.

I’m currently running Tokyo Lore, a project that highlights high-utility logic and validation-focused tools, and we often work with founders who are in the middle of these exact "funnel audits." Since you’re building the definitive playbook for scaling back to peak performance, entering your business could be the perfect way to turn this optimization sprint into a winning case study while your odds are at their absolute peak.

Before you pay someone to run 4 weeks of experiments, I’d split the acquisition surface by buying intent. Right now AI image and video generation is too broad for one page to carry.

Make separate pages for ecommerce image generation, creator or short-form video workflows, alternative-to-X buyers, and a page for teams already seeing demand drop after a peak. Then the audit is testing specific buyer journeys instead of fighting one all-purpose landing page.

For context, I'm building Clustra which does this automatically and happy to generate a free example for your product if useful: clustra[dot]nanocorp[dot]app
