Looking for a lead developer & potential CTO for the "Hootsuite" for resellers on peer to peer marketplaces.

Hey IH! Been loving this community since I joined a couple of days ago.

I'm currently in the search of a lead developer (and future potential CTO) who's interested in building a software application on top of peer to peer marketplaces (like Ebay, Poshmark, Depop, Mercari etc). Because I can't post multiple links yet, you can check out my website (just get rid of the space between the . and com: usespred. com

I'm a non-technical founder, and outsourced a majority of my mvp previously, so you would have some code to work off of.

Here are a couple of the roles/tasks that would be needed to get our mvp up (which would integrate with Ebay and Poshmark):

  • Host a Node.js server on a AWS EC2 instance.
  • This server will expose an API that will act as the API Poshmark does not provide: this API will use a JS library called Selenium, which has been created to test web interfaces but is also quite effective for web scrapping.
  • The backend we already have will then be able to send request to an API to upload new products on Poshmark.

If you're interested in this space and this role, here's how I would envision the next steps!

  1. Book a time to meet here: https://calendly.com/kaitofromspred/15min
  2. I do have a couple of interviews already, so depending on fit I would let you know if you're selected.
  3. I would pay you $3000 CAD to get the initial mvp project up, and we'll make this the "trial version" of our working relationship. After speaking to some devs, it shouldn't take more than 4 days to get the mvp up due to alot of the code being built already.
  4. Once the mvp is up, we can discuss how we would like to see working together long term, the vision, etc. If it's not a fit, it would hopefully still be a win-win in the sense of you getting paid, getting experience, and building our network.

Looking forward to hearing from you all - preferably, I would love to connect with people located in North America but open to connecting regardless.
